It's week #12!
11/11/2020 Note from Mrs. Kasper:
Hey 5th & 6th Graders (and parents)!
Even though we have practiced a bit in case we have to switch to Distance Learning (or you have to stay home in quarantine), you might not remember every little thing that I have told you. This webpage is one place that you can check for information or to send me a question. The other place is our Google Classroom. That one will be EXTRA useful because it is also where you will find each of your assignments for each subject area every day. Classroom will have the most up-to-date information, but I will try to also keep this webpage current each week. Please remember that when you are learning from home, you should still spend some time each day on XtraMath, Khan Academy, and Freckle (English AND Math). Also, remember to keep up with your I.R. and Lit. Circle work. |

Classroom Book Suggestions:
Bible Reading: John 4:31-35, 37-38Opening (from Children's Daily Prayer 2020-2021):
We hear today that Jesus is called Rabbi, the Hebrew name for "teacher". The disciples are worried about Jesus not eating, but Jesus responds that doing God's work is fulfilling enough for him. Jesus reminds us that we are all caled to serve God, find opportunities to share God's love, and care for all of creation. |
*This section will be updated every-other week day.
Silent Reflection (from Children's Daily Prayer 2020-2021):
You have many teachers in your life. What do they teach you about Jesus? Prayer (from Children's Daily Prayer 2020-2021):
God of Wisdom, open our ears to listen to your teachings. Open our hearts that we will follow your commands. May our lives give you honor and glory. We pray this in the name of our Master Teacher, Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen. |
